FDJ (Desert Psychlist) in the late 70's Akron, Ohio earned a reputation for turning out bands and artists whose music was a little off-kilter and left of field and listening to this little gem it would seem nothing much as changed. Favorite track: Blast Off.
Weirdo Shrine

Weirdo Shrine The real trip of Meditations On The Kali Yuga is that once you think you got it, the music shows you another way. The album becomes a mind boggling puzzle that somehow fits perfectly and leaves your mind in shambles once it's done, ready to press repeat and wrap your brains around it once again. We don't say this often, but I feel with this release I have to: do not sleep on this. Favorite track: Blast Off.

No Enemies 01:39
Out of nothing You and I look for a way Not to suffer anymore And never feel the pain There are no enemies When there is no other The mind's disease Is the illusion you're not me
2.
This is the sound of mother calling you Before you were born you heard inside her womb This is your face, this is who you are Now that you know, you will forget again, again, again, again The fall of man won't be the fall of you From ashes we rise, the world is born anew All of the fear was only inside your mind Now that you know, you will forget again, again, again, again Shivalila Shivalila

Blast Off 02:50
Open up your mouth Open up your mind There's nothing to fear We're all gonna die You were never real Neither was I Now let's get free Makin' love in the sky Don't fall for the sideshow Don't look through your eyes You can only surrender To the worms and flies It was only a story They were only lies Now let's get free Makin' love in the sky

The Chapel 11:17
I'll make a picture I'll call it you Can I believe this could be true? Where did you come from? What did I do? I made this picture into you What did I get myself into? Just ink on paper How could it be This magick spell led you to me? Can now I wish for All that I need? Can all my wishes set me free? Can all your wishes set you free? Now make a wish and you will see
5.
Losing Game 03:59
Wake up everybody I've got something to say We are being hunted every day This is not my country Its all slipping away Time to turn it back the other way You're with me Or against me No in between I can never trust you You don't see it my way Never question anything I say We'll be better without you You were all led astray There just can't be any other way Can you hate me When you know me? When you are me? Holding onto belief Brings insanity When the mind can't see You're either on my team Or you're my enemy Is a losing game
6.
Can you see what you are right now? Could you be in a dream right now? Who are you looking through? Do you look the other way out of fear? Could it be your memories that interfere? What are you scared to do? I don't know why I can't see Part of myself blind to me Do you own all you hate as you are? Do you seek to liberate what you are? When will you commit to........?

P'I 07:29
Storm has come Darkness falls Fear arrives Evil calls Light can fade For all our days We march on We march on We'll find a way We'll find a way Maybe not today We'll find a way Us and them Liars win Power games Hide our shame Truth can't die We have it inside We push on We push on We'll find a way We'll find a way Maybe not today We'll find a way

Samsaraboros 05:48
Over the winters a seed had survived Deep underground found a shelter to hide When kissed by water its roots start to show And into a tree it would grow Higher and higher the branches they climb Led by its flowers reaching for the sky Closer and closer yet so far away Longing to make it one day The flowers, they hated the tree down below For keeping them down and not letting them go The trunk and the roots that lie deep in the ground Are what has always been holding us down One day they decided to sever the tree Hoping that finally then they'll be free The tree came down crashing, the flowers they cried, "Now we can finally fly!"
