Over the winters a seed had survived
Deep underground found a shelter to hide
When kissed by water its roots start to show
And into a tree it would grow
Higher and higher the branches they climb
Led by its flowers reaching for the sky
Closer and closer yet so far away
Longing to make it one day
The flowers, they hated the tree down below
For keeping them down and not letting them go
The trunk and the roots that lie deep in the ground
Are what has always been holding us down
One day they decided to sever the tree
Hoping that finally then they'll be free
The tree came down crashing, the flowers they cried,
"Now we can finally fly!"
US Stoner Doom / Rock. This singer has such a raspy voice it is addictive! Plus the grooves & beats are just out of this world! Slow & easy... :) Sometimes I need that! Thanks GHB! Highly recommended! bmurator
Faerie Ring return and so does the RIFF, all caps. Faerie Ring take what would be a cookie cutter riff from anyone else and just JUICE it so thoroughly, with passion and energy and melodic interest and the all-important rhythmic groove (much more important to a good stoner riff than loud fuzz), that it just blows out your speaker and makes you mean mug. Guaranteed. I loved the wacky sounds they created in the studio that really push this over the edge from great into bonkers-great. pinkytheent
Trailblazing psych duo White Hills return with another batch of bottom-heavy stoner-y anthems submerged in 200 tons of guitar. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 17, 2022
Just some very quality stoner rock/metal. Excellent riffs, guitar tone, vocals, production, and great hooks. My biggest complaint about a lot of this kind of music is a lot of bands forget to include hooks. Acid Magus didn't. mobesneedmusic
